Meigra Simon
Meigra's life long work has been in the Bodywork/Massage field, beginning in 1972 with receiving her first foot massage! From there she enrolled in massage school and in 1980 attended the Rolf Institute becoming a Rolf movement teacher.
Hands-on work has always been her primary love, and since then has had a thriving practice in California and New Mexico. She incorporates a wide variety of modalities into what she calls a 'Wisdom Blend' , including Myofascial Release, Cranial-Sacral, Ortho-biononmy, Zero-Balancing, and others. Each treatment is unique, depending on what the body is needing.
Her latest form is Bowenwork, a gentle osteopathic-type technique. Originating in Australia. This relative newcomer to the Bodywork scene has a proven track record of helping with back and neck pain, knee injuries, frozen shoulder, and many other conditions. This soft-tissue technique can be done with clothes on. Children respond well and are always treated for free.
Meigra is a great believer in the body's innate capacity to heal itself, given the optimal environment of deep relaxation. With her experienced hands and trust of this deep healing process, many people has benefited from her treatments.
Meigra is also a Human Design practitioner. This non-bodywork
technique is done as a consultation that offers insights into
deciphering the inherent blueprint, patterns and opportunities with
which we are born. Utilizing elements of astrology, the I'Chng and
chakras, it provides a unique reflection of who we are.
